June is Pride month and sadly, we were unable to hold the Pridefest had to be postponed this year due to Covid-19. That doesn’t mean we can’t still celebrate our community of LGBTQ+ friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, and clients.
This week the supreme court ruled that federal law protects LGBTQ workers from discrimination. While this is considered a victory, it does not mean that we don’t have to contiue working to support and advocate for our LGBTQ friends. This population contiues to struggle to find resources for medical treatment and mental health treatment, especially in rural communities. I want to take this opportunity to provide some resources if you are in need of support:
